Keep Your Eyes Out for...

1. Lupe Fiasco, an up and coming hip hop artist out of the westside of Chicago. Praised as a brilliant lyricist, Lupe is pushing the first single, "Kick, Push" off his debut album "Lupe Fiasco's Food and Liquor".

Hip-Hop needs Lupe...this video gives me Fresh Prince and DJ Jazzy Jeff vibes ala "Summertime". The album drops on June 27th.

2. Gnarls Barkley, the musical collaboration of Goodie Mob's Cee-Lo and Producer Dangermouse (whose recent credits include the "Grey Album" (the Jay-Z and Beatles Mashup) and the Gorillaz' "Demon Days" album).

Gnarls Barkley is the brainchild of Cee-Lo Green and DJ Dangermouse, their first single off of their first album "St. Elsewhere" is titled "Crazy". Just do yourself a favor and check out this video. This song is addicting.

I have a lot of blogging stored up...namely a look back at my spring break trip to Hawaii with the Geosciences Department...but graduation is goal numero uno. Only two more weeks of college...word? Additionally, I must suggest that everyone download the video of Dave Chappelle's most recent standup, For What Its Worth, on iTunes for only a $1.99. You dont need an video iPod to watch it, you can just view it on your computer. It is a steal. One of the funniest standup routines I have seen in a while.
