Although I am glad to make short list of Dr. Gilbert's favorite blog titles, I have one objection to his description. Contrary to popular belief, Delaware is not just a small town in Ohio, but it is also the second smallest state in the Union. Snuggled between Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New Jersey, Delaware was the first state to sign the Constitution. One of the states' largest draws are its beaches. These beaches were once known as the nations summer capital because many representatives and senators (not from Delaware...no Delaware only boasts one rep and two senators...not many) owned beach houses there. One of the few distinctions and advantages the "Small Wonder" state holds is its relative proximity to the large, booming cities of the megalopolis. My hometown of Wilmington, DE is close to New York (2.5 to 3 hrs away), the Illadelph or Philly (30 minutes away), Baltimore (1.5 hrs), D.C (1:45 to 2 hrs), NJ Beaches (2 hrs), DE Beaches (1.5 hrs), MD beaches (2 hrs), and the Poconos (1.5 to 2 hrs). HEY, there might not be much in the old Diamond State, but we got everything around us. Another one of the advantages to life in Delaware is the lack of 7% sales tax that ambushes temporary Ohio residents, such as myself. I could go on, but....
