Jay-Z performed with Phish this past Friday night. With the jam band making one of its final performances, Jay-Z hopped up on stage and performed "99 Problems" and "Big Pimpin'" with help from Phish. Jay-Z's much remixed "The Black Album" has been remixed by the Spin Junkies. Using samples of the Grateful Dead, they created the "Jay-Z's Dead" remixes. note: You can download the album for free on their website.

In other news...Apparently, SHAQ-zilla still believes that he has "SKILLZ" on the mic when he went after Skillz on recent track (Lo Hi) (parental advisory). If you take a listen to what Shaq-fu is saying, you realize why he is not a successful rapper. Many of you may not know much about Skillz (because he, like Pharoahe Monch, has been mixed up in the confusion that has occurred at RAWKUS records and both artists have been unable to officially release their most recent albums....but that is another story.
